Middle School Admissions DSST is excited to announce the opening of the Middle School Program which will serve grades 6 to 8. This program will be modeled closely after the high school and will follow the same mission and vision, guiding principles, and core values. DSST’s Middle School Program will have a college preparatory focus, with an emphasis on developing core liberal arts skills in reading, writing, mathematics and science. This program will prepare students for the rigorous high school program at DSST. Students will succeed through a highly structured classroom environment with clear academic and behavioral expectations. DSST is a Denver Public Schools (DPS) Charter High School, and conforms to DPS regulations with respect to admissions procedures for charter schools. Admission to DSST will be granted through a LOTTERY PROCESS. Due to the planned growth of DSST’s Middle School Program, each year we will admit 130 6th graders. We will not admit students in 7th or 8th graders at this time. In order to be eligible for the lottery, interested students must complete an Admission Application and comply with all of the admission deadlines specified in the Admission's Calendar. We strongly encourage interested families to attend an Open House. Email Address: middle.school@scienceandtech.org Phone Number: 303.320.5570 ext. 800.
